Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Clean Crumbs All-Purpose Baking Mix
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 16 oz cottage cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 6 oz ham or turkey, diced
- 1/3 chives, finely chopped
Directions
PREHEAT the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly flour the parchment paper.
IN a large bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Baking Mix, onion powder, and garlic powder until combined.
IN a separate medium bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, eggs, ham, and chives until fully combined.
ADD the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula until a dough begins to form. Once it thickens, use clean, lightly floured hands to bring it together into a dough ball. Add a sprinkle of flour as needed if the dough is too sticky, it should be soft but workable.
TRANSFER the dough to the prepared baking sheet and gently press it into a rectangle about 7” x 10” (it doesn’t need to be perfect).
USE a knife or bench scraper to cut the dough into 8 equal biscuits, then space them evenly apart on the baking sheet.
BAKE for 22–25 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden and the bottoms are golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
